Award configuration and nomination eligibility
Award definitions now store public content, nomination prompts, artwork, membership-duration checks, repeat-recognition limits, prerequisite awards, and availability.
Definitions and nomination cycles
An award definition contains the reusable name, public content, nomination instructions, artwork, and eligibility settings. A nomination cycle adds the dated submission and review period for that definition.
Definitions and cycles remain separate records. A new cycle can use an existing definition without copying its identity into a new award type.
Stored award configuration
Each definition can store a public description, eligibility summary, nomination evidence prompt, minimum months in the current membership term, maximum recognitions per person, and a prerequisite award. The artwork can use an HTTPS address or an uploaded file when client storage is configured. Alternative text is required when artwork is set.
An inactive definition cannot accept new nomination cycles. Existing nomination and recognition records remain available.
Nomination eligibility checks
At submission, PostgreSQL checks that the nominee has an active membership on the eligibility date. It also applies the definition's current-term duration, recognition-count, and prerequisite-award settings.
The nomination stores the eligibility date and a snapshot of the applied award settings. Later edits to the definition do not change the recorded basis of an existing nomination.
Fixed review states
Nominations use the fixed states submitted, under review, needs changes, approved, declined, and issued. Reviewers can record evidence and status history. Issuing recognition requires an approved nomination and creates a separate recognition record.
Clients configure award content and the available eligibility fields. They cannot add executable rules, custom workflow states, or award-specific permissions.
