Homepage banner uploads and desktop/mobile previews

The Homepage hero editor accepts PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP files up to 5 MB. A selected file replaces the image URL when the administrator saves. Image URL entry remains available.

The same form contains the headline, supporting text, image description and primary and secondary action fields.

Preview before saving

Desktop and Mobile controls show the hero at 1200-pixel and 390-pixel widths. The preview updates as the administrator changes the image, text, layout, focal point or overlay. It uses the same hero component and styles as the public homepage.

Split layout separates the text and image. Immersive layout places the text over the image. Focal point controls which part of the image stays in view; the overlay setting changes the shading behind immersive text. Preview actions are inactive.

Save the image and hero settings together

Save homepage hero applies the selected image and form settings to the public homepage. Invalid files and failed uploads leave the previously saved homepage settings unchanged. The editor displays an error so the administrator can correct the input or retry.

Uploaded banners are public website images. The upload action requires super-admin access.

Mobile headers

Public mobile headers now keep the association identity and controls on one row. Long visible names are shortened with an ellipsis while the full accessible name remains available. The menu retains its accessible label and a 44-pixel target.

These changes extend the public site themes and saved appearance settings described in the previous update.
