Opening the scanner

An event operator opens the event's check-in page on a phone and selects Start camera. The scanner reads the QR code shown on an issued ticket and submits it for the selected event.

The scanner stays on the same page after a result, so staff do not need a separate scanning application.

Checking the ticket

Military OS checks that the code belongs to a ticket for the current event. A valid issued ticket is marked as checked in. A revoked ticket, an unrecognised code, or a code for another event is not accepted.

If the ticket was already used, the page reports that it was already checked in instead of recording it twice. A successful result includes the ticket holder's name and email address.

Entering a code manually

The same page includes a ticket-code field. Staff can use it when the camera is unavailable or the QR code cannot be read. The manual code receives the same checks as a scanned code.

Reviewing attendance

The page shows the number of valid tickets, checked-in tickets, and tickets still remaining. The recent list shows the latest checked-in ticket holders and the recorded time.

Access is limited to signed-in staff with event administration permission. Each recorded check-in stores the staff member responsible for it.
