Giving ticket holders the online meeting link
Staff can keep an online meeting link off the public event page and give it only to ticket holders during the allowed joining time.
Recording the meeting details
For a virtual or hybrid event, an event administrator records the meeting service, secure meeting link, attendee instructions, and the times when joining opens and closes.
The meeting can use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, or another outside service. Video, recording, transcripts, and screen sharing are handled by that service, not Military OS.
Who can see the link
The public event page and calendar file do not contain the meeting link. A signed-in member uses a ticket connected to their member record. A guest ticket holder uses the personal link sent in an access reminder.
The join button appears only during the allowed joining time. Pressing it records that the ticket holder joined and opens the outside meeting service. Simply opening the access page does not record attendance.
Calendar files, reminders, and attendance
Ticket holders can download a calendar file from the public event page or their access page. The file contains the public event address, not the private meeting link.
An event administrator can email access reminders. Military OS records whether each reminder was sent or failed. The event page also shows how many ticket holders used the join button and the result of the latest reminder.
Free and paid tickets
Free and paid registrations use the same ticket records. A free registration issues the ticket without opening checkout. A paid registration must complete through the client's payment provider before the ticket is issued.
