Recording a home chapter and a local chapter
A member can have one dated home chapter record and one optional local chapter record without moving their formal chapter membership.
Home chapter
The home chapter is the member's formal chapter for reporting and chapter leadership eligibility.
Local chapter
The optional local chapter records where the member currently takes part. It supports members who travel or live away from their home chapter without replacing the home record.
Dated records
Both assignments use start and end dates. PostgreSQL prevents overlapping assignments of the same type, so current and previous chapter records remain clear.
