Award definition The reusable award setup: its name, eligibility, evidence prompt, review route and optional medal artwork.
Nomination cycle One dated round when members can nominate someone for an award. Autumn 2026 is the example round shown in the video.
Reviewer / Awards Admin A staff member assigned Awards Admin access for that award, or an association administrator. Members without that access cannot decide the nomination.
Nomination review The association queue at Admin → Awards → Nomination review. It shows nominations that have reached the association decision stage.
Direct association decision The association reviews the nomination directly. The association decides whether to approve or decline it.
Chapter review route The configured Chapter Awards Officer reviews first, the Chapter president endorses, then association staff make the final decision.
Medal artwork The optional PNG or SVG image attached to an award definition. It is separate from the member’s profile photo and appears as a medal after the award is issued.
Issued recognition The recorded award given after approval. A nomination or approval alone does not add a medal to the member’s profile.
Public medal display Members choose under My awards whether all current and future issued medals appear beside their avatar and on member cards.
